Honestly, this site was born out of frustration. When we first started managing rental properties, the advice online was either too vague to be useful or written by people who clearly had never dealt with a real tenant situation in their lives.
We made plenty of mistakes early on rushed screenings, lease clauses we should’ve included, repairs we waited too long on. Every one of those mistakes cost us time, money, or sleep. So we started writing down what we learned. What actually worked. What we’d do differently.
